How far along? 33 weeks
Total weight gain/measurements: 19 pounds. I think its mostly due to the two baby showers and the eating out I did when I was back in WI.
Maternity clothes: The dress turned out to be beautiful and perfect for what I needed.

Sleep: I am still sleeping good for being 33 weeks pregnant. Haven’t been able to sleep in much but I am sure that my body is just getting me ready for the long nights and early mornings!
Best moment this week: My two lovely baby showers. They both turned out amazing! I felt so loved. Everyone put so much time and effort into both. It was truly a special weekend!! A huge thanks goes out to everyone who helped! This baby is going to be so loved and spoiled!!!!!
Platteville Baby Shower
Milwaukee Baby Shower
Miss anything? Nope, feeling great!
Movement: Tons of movement, especially after I eat something! I wonder if it the increased blood flow of nutrients or if he can hear the digestion and that makes him move around….could be a mixture of both:)
Food cravings: This week I was not the healthiest eater just because of all the good food everyone made for the showers and the dinners out.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope.
Gender: It’s a BOY!
Labor signs: None, haven’t even felt any braxton hicks.
Symptoms: No symptoms really. I am very happy to say that this weeks post I do not have pre-eclampsia. Yes, it was a stressful last couple of weeks thinking I have either health issue. But I have tested negative for both! Whoop Whoop! Thank goodness!!!
Belly button in or out? So I would have to say that it is partially in and partially out.
Wedding rings on or off? Sadly, off…most days. I do try to wear my wedding band but even that is hard to get on and off.
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy, I had such a good time at both baby showers! Then Rick and I had a great time in Chicago for the day. It was perfect weather…not too hot or cold. Of course, I didn’t want to come back to reality but 6 more weeks and we will have a new addition to welcome. I can’t believe it! And I can’t wait!
Looking forward to: I am having a non-stress test ultrasound of the baby this Thursday (August 18th) just to see growth and to be extra careful. I am also having my maternity pictures taken this weekend. After a lot of research, I decided to go with Nicole Hanner Photography. She suggested sunset pictures so I am interested to see how they will turn out.
Days to go: 46 days to go!
Baby development: Baby is the size of a pineapple. He weighs around 4 pounds and is 17 inches long from head to heel. He is rapidly losing the wrinkled, alien look, and his skeleton is hardening. The bones in his skull aren’t fused together, which allows them to move slightly overlap, thus making it easier for him to fit through the birth canal. These bones don’t entirely fuse until early adulthood, so they can grow as his brain and other tissue expands during infancy and childhood.

Love,
Amanda
